Yoga - Level 1 (Online)

Class Description: This flow-style class uses a series of yoga poses to warm up the body, while encouraging awareness in connecting breath to movement. Basic yoga poses are utilized to build muscle strength and improve flexibility. Modifications offered as needed to allow students to “individualize” their practice. Note: Some previous yoga experience is helpful but not required.

Online Format: This well received in-person course has been transitioned into a virtual class using the Zoom online platform. Before registering, make sure your device meets the minimum requirements; view minimum requirements here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-System-Requirements-for-PC-Mac-and-LinuxMost of this particular class will be held with the participant video off. You will have the option to join a group video and conversation at the beginning and end of the class.

After you register, your class confirmation email will include information on how you access this class online. We are confident that you will enjoy the same quality experience with Jill Hawthorne, but this time it will be from the comfort of home!

Jill Hawthorne

JILL HAWTHORNE has completed 200 hrs of approved Yoga Teacher training. She believes that yoga provides an important component of any workout regimen. With a background in healthcare, she feels yoga contributes positively to our over-all health and well-being. Her goal is to share with others something she really enjoys and believes in.
