Teens and Depression: A Helpful Guide for Parents (Online)

Teenage depression can be challenging and scary to navigate as a parent. Whether your teen is openly angsty, sullen and withdrawn, angry, isolated, or anything in between, this class will help. Understand how to recognize the symptoms and warnings of depression in your teenager. Discover ways that you can help your child cope and heal from depression. Learn when and how to find professional help if needed. We hope you can join us online for this workshop with educational content as well as time for questions with a professional therapist.
Due to the Covid19 emergency, registration fees are not being taken at this time unless you will be using account credits from previously cancelled classes. For "register now, pay later" your credit card will be billed 3 days prior to the class start date. You will be notified if this class is cancelled.

Deb Kunze is a graduate student completing her internship with Threads of Hope Counseling in Newport, Minnesota. She has two teen and young adult children, and has been a parenting advocate and support group leader for parents in the past. She specializes in parenting and teen issues in her practice and has a passion for helping families heal and understand each other better.
