The Feldenkrais Method - Awareness Through Movement (Daytime Online Class)

Come and learn that Awareness through Movement – paying attention to yourself—is designed to improve how you move and feel. These 5 lessons will be done sitting on chairs, and in standing with each lesson focusing on a different part of the body and movement: eyes/head/neck, breathing, shoulders/arms, back/ribs, and hips/knees/ankles/feet. Moshe Feldenkrais said, “Now, you will go slow, you will pay attention, not to do the things nicely, not to compete with yourself, and not to compete with anybody. You’ll just be doing the things simply, carefully, easily …”

Online Format: You must enroll in this virtual class at least one day ahead of the start time of the class to receive the Zoom link. 

Maggie Vogel-Martin

MAGGIE VOGEL-MARTIN has studied the Feldenkrais Method since 2009 and became a guild certified Feldenkrais instructor in 2013. She has taught ATM classes in the twin cities since 2011 and maintains a private practice in Forest Lake, in the Feldenkrais individual work of Functional Integration. She is also research scientist for 3M and graduated from the University of Illinois with advanced degrees in Mathematics and Engineering.
