This class is for students with little or no knowledge of the Hmong language. Learn the basic sounds to begin reading and writing and gain a greater appreciation for Hmong culture.
Kao Nou has taught Hmong language and culture classes for K-12 students, college students, and adults. She is currently a social work professor at Augsburg University in Minneapolis. Her research is focused on Hmong American youth identity, Hmong oral traditions and ways of knowing, and developing culturally-grounded services.
