ECFE On-Line: Mindfulness for Parents and Kids

ECFE On-Line: Mindfulness for Parents and Kids

Ages: Birth to 5 Years

Course #: DPW810-4E

According to a recent 'Zero to 3' parent survey, 3 out of 4 list parenting as their biggest challenge. Less than 1/2 of parents reported getting the support they need when they are overwhelmed. Stress in adults can lead to increased stress in the immediate environment and for the kids who share it with them. Learning mindfulness strategies can help manage every day stressors and is a proven strategy in supporting children's attention, social-emotional awareness and resiliency. Join us to learn easy-to-implement tools and strategies grounded in the knowledge that small changes can make a difference for parents, children, and families. Please note: An internet connection is required to register and participate in this class.
