    Join us to learn the game of golf in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. This clinic is designed for the novice or person completely new to the game of golf. Practice some of the basics indoors so you can enjoy this wonderful game with your sons, daughters or parents for a lifetime. Practice Putting & Chipping, Half Swing and L-Swing with Irons, and Full Swing with Fairway Clubs and Drivers. Along with swing mechanics, each week will include rules & etiquette, along with the mental game so that you feel confident to play out on the course. These group lessons will be divided by skill level so that everyone will get personal attention with the same amount of fun!

This foundations class is a wonderful place to begin, especially if you are new to yoga, to learn the foundations of the physical practice, our nervous system, and tools to enhance our ability to stay regulated and balanced. It is also a great class to repeat as desired to reset and to deepen learning of foundational concepts.

    Celebration Line Dance for Parties and Weddings

    Party season is coming up! Get ready for any event with this workshop on 3 popular lines dances: Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle. No partner needed for an evening of music, movement and fun! All ages are welcome to this family friendly activity! (Note: Children must register and be accompanied by a registered adult. The class fee for adults (age 15 and up) is $15. The class fee for children ages 6 - 14 is just $8.

    Crepes are an easy, impressive do-ahead dish. We will prepare Chicken Divan (chicken with broccoli in a cheese sauce) for our main dish.   • EMOM: Every Minute on the Minute - Thursday Mornings (Online)

    60 seconds will fly by! You complete an exercise(s) for a designated number of reps that you chose. Your work time is 60 seconds. The remaining time within the minute serves as your recovery. You pick your reps and how long you get to rest. EMOM workouts are a great training tool. You will develop strength, muscle, endurance and overall workout capacity. Please bring your own dumb bells (suggested 3-15 lbs depending on fitness level) and a mat for this workout. There may be times when this class is offered earlier and recorded so that class will not have to be cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. How well your photographs tell that story depends on how well you understand the basic elements of photography and composition. Learn about rules of composition, the exposure triangle, metering, semiautomatic and manual shooting modes and more. Please bring your digital (DSLR) camera with a fully charged battery, camera manual, pen, and notebook. No “point & shoot” cameras please.

    This is a great opportunity for an adult and child to work together to design their own Garden Stakes! Each participant will select their special COE glass, then hand cut and design two garden stakes to place in the garden or special potted plant. Great as a Mother's Day outing and/or gift idea! Stakes will be brought back to the artist's studio for fusing in a high-temp kiln. Garden stakes will be delivered back to the District Program Center for pick up. All tools and supplies are provided. Minimum Age 10 years old. Child must register with a paying adult.

    Home Landscape Design

    Whether you are renovating an existing yard or starting from scratch, a home landscape will best meet your family’s needs if properly planned. Develop an overall design for your landscape that can be implemented in stages or all at once. Learn about basic landscape design principles through discussion and photographs, and learn methods for working through constraints, needs, and wants. Master Gardeners will be on hand to discuss problems and make suggestions while you work on drawing your landscape plan. To get a quick start, come to the first class with measurements of your lot, including locations/sizes of key structures such as house, garage, deck/patio/pool, driveway, and trees. This will require getting outside and taking measurements. Photographs can help record specific problem areas or areas of focus. Developing a good working plan will help you on your way to having the home landscape you always dreamed of. Instructors: KRISTIN TOOZE, DOREEN GOW, LYNN VERNON and a team of University of Minnesota Extension MASTER GARDENERS from Washington County will be teaching this class.
