  • IMPROV: Acting without a Script

    Just Kidding Improv is offering a laughter filled week long camp with a show for family and friends last day of class. Kids learn communication skills, self-confidence an respect towards other’s ideas. Students play improv games and practice exercises in scene work and characters while learning theater basics and basic performing skills, improve takes hold when we take our imaginations and silliness and apply to to scene work and games. The focus and structure that students learning is the I class can also be applied to any number of areas in their lives. Come out and play. There will be a showcase on the last day of class.     Students will program robots to move, act and think on their own. Discover the excitement of programming your creation to follow a command and watch it go. Our classes are fun, educational, and hands-on, teaching students the foundations of building and programming concepts. Students working in teams will then be challenged to morph their projects into better, stronger, or faster robots.

    Join us for this hybrid class that combines 30 minutes of Zumba® Fitness followed by 30 minutes of Zumba Toning. It features dance-fitness movements inspired by Latin, international and pop/hip hop music meant to get your heart rate up and warm up your muscles. Then, Zumba Toning incorporates weighted toning sticks or light hand weights (no more than 3lbs each)to your Zumba workout. They function like dumbbells and act as resistance weights to help you tone and sculpt your muscles. Note: You must provide your own weights/toning sticks for class

Immerse yourself in theatrical magic as a man in a chair sets the stage aglow with his favorite record, the cast recording of a whimsical 1928 musical. The Drowsy Chaperone unfolds with two lovers on their wedding eve, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan, and an intoxicated chaperone. Get ready for a night of madcap delight and laughter in this whirlwind of comedic ode to the golden age of musicals!
  • Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" Musical at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater - Adult Day Trip

    Join us for this fun musical by Irving Berlin. "White Christmas" is a classic! Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical sure to bring delight.
