    Middle School Spring Speed and Strength

    This program is offered to any middle school-aged athlete looking to gain a competitive edge on their opponents! Meeting twice a week and led by Coach Colvard, East Ridge High School's Head Strength & Performance Coach, this program will develop athletes' speed, power, strength, mobility, agility, and conditioning.   • Raptor Speed and Strength Summer Program

    In partnership with Training HAUS, Raptor Speed and Strength is designed to take every athlete to the next level! RSS is a comprehensive training program led by Coach Colvard, a 10-year veteran of the field with experience at two Division 1 universities and who has worked with athletes ranging from youth to professionals. Utilizing elite training methodologies, athletes will train in the weight room to increase strength, power, and physical resiliency, and on the turf to improve speed, agility, and conditioning. In addition, a Registered Sports Dietitian will be on site twice over the summer to discuss sports nutrition topics and answer questions the athletes may have! Camp will not meet June 19 or July 1-5. Participants will receive a t-shirt. On the first day, please report to the location specified on your registration. Athletic clothes and appropriate footwear are required (cleats are recommended for turf days but not required); personal water bottles are highly recommended.     DASH Sports Athleticism Camp

    DASH Athleticism Camp Grades 6-8 Camp provides participants with an overall athleticism building camp experience including speed training, agility, endurance, body control/balance, quickness, strength, power, and jumping. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic performance.   • SAIL Fitness - Stay Active and Independent for Life (Daytime - 55+)

    Stay Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a strength, balance and fitness program for adults 65 and older. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness is the single most important activity adults can do to stay active and reduce their chances of falling. This class will combine elements of a variety of different formats, including resistance bands, light weights, body weight, Tai Ji Quan and yoga for balance and flexibility training. Designed to help older adults remain independent and active through enjoyable physical activity.

    PWER Nordic Ski Summer Training Camp Skiers are made in the summer! Enhance your endurance with trail running, refine your ski technique with roller skiing sessions, and participate in focused bodyweight strength training. Whether you are on the PWER Nordic Ski Team or interested in joining, getting fit and improving your cross-country skiing, this camp is for you. No equipment or experience is necessary.   • Swim Training 7th grade - adult (This is NOT swim lessons)

    Requirement: Passed Intermediate 2. Offered year round on a monthly basis Swim Training offers ages 10-adult the opportunity to have a consistent fitness program. Whether you are a student that wants to keep in shape between competitive seasons, gain strength to get on a swim team or an adult looking for that old workout you use to get in high school, this is the course for you. Each meeting will have a designated workout according to your ability. Your coach will cover a different topic each meeting day to help you improve in starts, turns or stroke development. Participants are divided into three levels of ability. As you become faster you will move on to a different lane. Participants will follow a circle swimming pattern in the lane they are assigned. 3-6 participants are assigned per lane depending on registration. Registration ends one week in advance. Thereafter a late fee of $5.00 is added to the registration fee. Please call 425-6600 for class availability after online registration ends. Late registrations are taken at the pool for any available class for the first two days.
  • 3D Engineering: Architectural & Structural Design

    Bring your imagination to life. Become a master bricklayer and use our special architectural LEGO® kits to build your creations. Be an architect as you learn the principles of construction. The main goal of the course is to introduce the concept of 3-dimensions and their role in design. Students will construct buildings, structures, towers, castles, and more within teams. Students will learn construction principles and use math skills to experiment with scale and size, staggering vs. stacking bricks, and more. We'll build houses with removable roofs, castles with turrets, and towers of strength! It might just be impossible to exhaust the creative potential of LEGO® bricks. With an active imagination as your guide, there are endless possibilities. Students will be working in pairs

Join peers your age in a fun interactive group experience where we will dive into your mindset, what inspires you, and what motivates you to be the very best version of YOU. Summer is a great time to build on skills and strategies that will be helpful for school and your overall wellness! Jacqueline Valek, MS, LPC, NCC, LSC has extensive experience working with children and teens in her role as a Licensed School Counselor and Therapist. Each participant will receive a journal to keep new ideas, strategies, and resources that you can build on in the school year ahead!
  • Neighborhood Yoga - FREE and for All Ages!

    Enjoy a refreshing experience practicing yoga outdoors! Vinyasa yoga helps with strength and flexibility. We will work on balance and elongating the muscles to create a positive habit in your life. We'll meet at Pine Glen Park located at 9701 Hamlet Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. No experience is necessary, and you are welcome to bring your kids of all ages (supervised and participating). There is also a playground that is close by for children. Bring a mat and water bottle. Registration is appreciated but not required for this free drop-in style class. (Note: Class will be cancelled if it is raining or the temp is 52 degrees or below. By registering, you will be notified of any changes.)
  • Yoga - Level 1 (Cottage Grove) In-person

    This flow-style class uses a series of yoga poses to warm up the body, while encouraging awareness in connecting breath to movement. Basic yoga poses are utilized to build muscle strength and improve flexibility. Modifications offered as needed to allow students to “individualize” their practice. Note: Some previous yoga experience is helpful but not required. This class is being offered as an in-person class, participants will also receive a recording of the current Online Yoga Level 1 class for that week on or by Tuesday afternoon. Please bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. November 7th is not available in the building for in-person classes, however our instructor will send a recording, so you may continue your yoga practice without a skip night.

Our Conquer Rec Team is designed for youth, ages 6-9 of all experience levels. Our Rec Team will practice on real obstacles inspired by the tv show such as warped walls, salmon ladders, tilting ladders and so much more during their weekly practice. Rec Team members will learn the styles and techniques to develop their Ninja Skills with over 40 different obstacles!
