    This class will provide participants with the fundamentals of fantasy football. If you are new to fantasy football, this is the class for you! Participants will learn how to draft players (there will be a mock 4 round draft), understand important terms and abbreviations needed to succeed in fantasy football, be provided tools (websites) that make it fun and easy compete week to week, and how to begin a league. Participants will learn how fun and easy fantasy football can be. Perfect for friends and families of all ages.

    South Washington County Schools Community Education and My7on7: Step into the future of football with our exciting co-ed youth 7on7 league! Open to Kindergarten through 8th grade, this fast-paced, minimal-contact league helps players develop football skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game in a fun, safe environment. Whether new to the sport or looking to improve, our spring season offers the perfect opportunity to grow and enjoy football. Program Details: Sundays: April 6th, 13th, 27th, and *May 4th (no games on April 20th) Time: Between 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm (Each session lasts approximately 1-1.5 hours per occurrence and will include 2 games. Exact schedules for each grade will be determined closer to the kick-off date.) April games will be played on the East Ridge High School football field. The State Championship will be held for all teams on May 4th at Stillwater High School.     RAPTOR SPEED & STRENGTH 2025 In partnership with Training HAUS, Raptor Speed and Strength is designed for athletes at every level! Led by the East Ridge Raptor’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and a veteran staff, training is targeted towards complete athletic development.     Royal Power and Speed: Summer 2025 Programs No program on June 19 or the week of June 30 - July 4 Days: 4-day programs will run Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3-day (Middle School Speed Only): Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays C471 - Royal Power & Speed - Advanced Session (for athletes entering grades 10-12) Cost through May 2025: $249 - Cost on/after June 1: $299 7:00 - 9:00 am Administered by WHS Strength Coach, Parker Theis, this group will begin with 45 minutes of speed, agility, and conditioning work in the WHS Stadium, followed by just over an hour in the WHS Weight Room. The advanced workout continues to build on the foundational strength and speed work that began in December of 2024. ** The advanced group must have permission from Coach Hill in order to sign up for this - any registrations for this group that are not in the advanced group will be moved to the 8:15 am session. All registered participants will receive a T-shirt during the final week of workouts. C472 - Royal Power & Speed - Varsity Group 1 (for athletes entering grades 8-12) Cost through May 2025: $249 - Cost on/after June 1: $299 8:15 - 9:45 am Administered by WHS Strength Coach, Parker Theis, this group will build foundational strength and speed technique throughout the summer of 2025. Starting in the WHS Stadium, we will have 35-40 minutes of speed, agility, and explosiveness training. There is a 5-10 minute transition window where participants will move to the WHS Weight Room for a 45-minute strength training session. This group is specifically designed for Rising 8th & 9th grade football players, and older football players who are not in the winter/spring Advanced Group. All registered participants will receive a T-shirt during the final week of workouts. C473 - Royal Power & Speed - Boys Basketball Split Session Cost through May 2025: $249 - Cost on/after June 1: $299 8:15 - Speed 10:30 - Strength In order to accommodate the basketball players in grades 10-12 being able to successfully participate in basketball activities, we are offering a split training opportunity. Basketball players who are involved with the 9:00 – 10:15 am basketball activities should register for this option. This will give participants speed training at 8:15 in the WHS Stadium, followed by basketball work in the AC with Coach Getzlaff until 10:15, and then a 10:30 strength session. These participants would be wrapped up by 11:15 each morning. All registered participants will receive a T-shirt during the final week of workouts. We will focus on developing the fundamentals of movement including form, balance, agility, explosiveness, and speed. Each session will begin with a warm-up in the WHS Activity Center Track (2nd level), followed by speed training work. The final 15 minutes will be focused on bodyweight exercises to develop joint and core strength. For Boys Basketball players entering grades 5-7, this will lead right up to the basketball training sessions that start at 11:45 am. C477 - August Training Cost through June 2025: $99 - Cost on/after July 1: $149 7:30 - 9:00 am New for 2025: To meet the needs of student-athletes who do NOT play a fall sport and want to continue to train through August, we are offering one August training session. The Speed portion of this program will take place on the WHS Activity Center Track (40 minutes) followed by a 45-minute strength session. ** If this is something you are interested in, please register ASAP. We must have 40 athletes sign up in order to run this session. The final determination will be made on July 15.
