    Soar Tennis Academy Basic Camps: The emphasis of this class is to develop enthusiasm for the game of tennis! The participants in this class should be at the beginner level and/or for those new to the game of tennis. The focus will be on being able to rally with proper grips and techniques as well as beginning to learn the serve.   • Spring Young Kids Camp

    Students K-2 will be offered their favorite games and activities. Each session will run for 50 minutes after school. This camp is unique from the many others in that it is an activity camp geared toward younger children. The many games and activities are modified and selected to be appropriate for the younger participant and their skill level. The camp is organized and supervised by a 32 year veteran PE teacher. Optional t-shirts will be available for Young Kids Camp for $10 each; youth small, medium, large and XL. Please contact Mrs. Tester if you would like one.

    This camp is for all 5th-7th grade students in the Park High School boundaries, that are not already on the Park Tennis team. It's designed to teach the fundamentals of tennis along with fun games! This camp is intended to get more students introduced and excited to this wonderful sport and hoping that they will join Park Tennis as a 7th grader. We will not be having any rain dates available for this camp, if we need to cancel any sessions due to weather. That is why the cost is so reasonable. Your child will love being the zookeepers, and showing the animals their soccer skills; blasting off to outer space with their Bobs and visiting all the planets; traveling around the world to visit countries and meeting new friends along the way. Every class is just as educational as it is fun. Big Toes: 4-5 years In this stage we introduce your child to key concepts & new skills, cooperation, & goal setting. Your child learns valuable lesson for all areas of life. All children have a soccer ball for maximum skill development. We make use of fun props & play more advanced games. The kids learn some of the most difficult skills & moves in soccer while having a blast. Your child will have fun & develop motor skills in a non-competitive way. Happy Feet Academy: 6-7 years Happy Feet Academy training transitions away from the songs and stories to a more traditional soccer environment. Each session involves creative soccer activities while advancing to the final progression of deceptive dribbling skills and gradually introducing manageable pressure to enhance skill development and decision making.
