This will be a hands-on cooking class so you can explore the step-by-step process. There will be plenty of food to sample!   • Deep-Flavored, Hearty Soups

    Learn how to build up a soup by layers for memorable, deep flavors. You can make your class soup in a stovetop or electric pressure cooker or a traditional pot, so bring whatever cooking vessel you choose. (Your soup will total less than 2 quarts.) You will choose to make one of the following three soups in class that demonstrate the soup-by-layers technique including Sausage-White Bean-Vegetable, Curried Squash, and Cream of Chicken-Wild Rice-Vegetable. Extensive handout provided. Please bring your cooking pot and a covered container for taking home leftovers. $18 food costs are included in your class fee.
  • Beginning Cake Decorating

    Introduction to Cake Decorating. Decorate an 8" celebration cake to take home and gain skills in shell borders, writing, and stars and rosettes. $12 food supply fee is included, along with the use of all tools needed. There will be starter kits available to take home for an additional $12.
  • Fun and Fancy Cupcakes

    Come learn some basic decorating skills to make beautiful cupcakes including Hydrangeas and Roses. We will use a few fancy flower tips as well. Each student will take home 12 boxed decorated cupcakes. The supply costs are included in your class fee.
  • Spring Cookie Fun

    Sugar cookies are so popular; come learn how to make your own. Students will be taught how to decorate fancy sugar cookies and take home a box of 12 cookies. You can make your own for your next occasion. The supply costs are included in your class fee. Age 12+ welcome.
