Birth to Five Multi-age classes bring children between the ages of birth-5 years together in a class to learn and play. This class provides the opportunity for siblings to attend the same class together. A range of parenting topics and activities especially designed for all levels of learning can be expected. ECFE Friends Preschool Transition Class Use monthly fee schedule 31-36 months -ages listed are as of September 1, 2022 Facilitated by a licensed early childhood teacher and a licensed parent educator, this class is a supportive transitional experience for young preschoolers. The first semester provides a parent/child once per week class with parent discussion. Second semester provides an additional child only day and then become a 2-day per week experience. Babies Books and Music - Short Series Class Sessions Explore the fun and value of books and music with your baby. Research has shown that early exposure to books, language and music builds a strong foundation for language development, reading and math. Please note that each session will cover materials from the same 7 or 8-week curriculum. This class is non-separating. A child must fit within the age range specified for the class on the first day of class. For example, a child enrolling in a toddler class (12-24 mos) must be no younger than 12 months and no older than 24 months on the first day of class. Toddlers and Twos Toddlers and twos are on the move and gaining independence as they explore the world around them. Early Childhood teachers will provide age specific and fun learning activities just for toddlers/twos. Parent education includes information about temperament, gaining cooperation, toilet learning, and other topics related to this stage of development. Messy Art Dress for mess and artistic success! Young children are free to smear, squeeze, splatter and otherwise explore artistic possibilities in our sensory tables, writing tables and giant paper painting fun. Storybook sharing inspires new ideas and creativity as children work with a variety of materials. Parenting topic sessions will include the emphasis on the art process as well as parenting topics selected by the group. Get ready for a messy good time! This is a separating class.
