Yoga - Level 1 (Cottage Grove) In-person

This flow-style class uses a series of yoga poses to warm up the body, while encouraging awareness in connecting breath to movement. Basic yoga poses are utilized to build muscle strength and improve flexibility. Modifications offered as needed to allow students to “individualize” their practice. Note: Some previous yoga experience is helpful but not required.

This class is being offered as an in-person class, participants will also receive a recording of the current Online Yoga Level 1 class for that week on or by Tuesday afternoon.  Please bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.

November 7th is not available in the building for in-person classes, however our instructor will send a recording, so you may continue your yoga practice without a skip night.

JILL HAWTHORNE has completed 200 hrs of approved Yoga Teacher training. She believes that yoga provides an important component of any workout regimen. With a background in healthcare, she feels yoga contributes positively to our over-all health and well-being. Her goal is to share with others something she really enjoys and believes in.
