It is characterized by geometric patterns and vibrant colors, often depicting elements of nature, animals, and daily life. Learn how to use Hmong cross stitches on fabric. You'll create a unique bookmark with an intricate and colorful pattern. These bookmarks will not only serve as a practical tool for keeping place in a book but also as beautiful pieces of art that showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Hmong people. Supply costs are included in the class fee.

Sanida Xiong

As a Hmong artist, Sanida has a deep appreciation for her traditional cross-stitch, folk songs, and food. Being inspired by her community, she has dedicated her life to inspiring others in return. Her passion for Hmong culture and art is reflected in the food recipes and cross-stitch patterns that she creates. Over the years, her designs have been featured in fashion shows, and she has also won many cross-stitch and folk song contests. Her artistic approach is to heal through art, and she truly believes that there is something calming about cross-stitch that can help people find peace and serenity.
