South Washington County Schools Community Education

This is a parent and child class for ages 1-3. In this class children will work on adjusting to the water, following safety instructions, playing games, and working on basic holds and limb manipulations to expose children to floating, kicking and arm movements.   Online registration ends one week in advance of class start date. Thereafter a late fee of $5 is added to the registration fee. Please call 425-6600 for class availability after online registration ends.

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Summer Pickleball camps provide participants with an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and snack. Campers also should bring a pickleball paddle (if you don’t have one, we will provide paddles). Balls and all other equipment are provided.

Park Girls Volleyball Skills and Drills Camp This three week volleyball camp will focus on both individual skills as well as team concepts. There will be skill development in setting, passing, hitting and blocking. There will also be development in team defense, offense, and serve receive. Week one will focus on individual skill development. Week two will work on putting the skills together with team concepts. Week three will focus on 6v6 team skills and play. Participants will receive a T-shirt.
