Stand loud and proud when you play drums ... taiko style! This beginner class is for those who have drummed a few times or never at all. Originally a Japanese art, taiko is now global. It is social, physical, mental, musical, LOUD, and just loads of fun! Play around with rhythms and learn a song to perform the last class. Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Wendy found taiko at the Women’s March in 2017 and has been taking workshops around the US and in Germany ever since. She has a lot of teaching experience and now wants to bring the joy and healing power of taiko to others.
