PARK YOUTH WRESTLING PROGRAM:
COST: $80 or $100Please also make sure to mark child's date of birth and grade.WHERE: Park Senior High Wrestling Room - In the Activity Center.
Beginner: This session will focus on the fundamental positions, movements, and a select few moves from each position in wrestling. This is for first-to-second year wrestlers in grades PreK-3. Returning wrestlers OR new wrestlers in fourth grade or higher, please refer to other session. Parents required at practice for Beginner session.
Tuesdays/Wednesdays - Jan. 7 through March 12 from 6:00-6:50pm (Course # C202 - $80) For grades PreK-3.
Intermediate and Advanced: This session will focus on intermediate-to-advanced techniques, conditioning, and live wrestling needed for youth wrestling competition. Wrestlers will be asked to compete in a number of team events, and require at least two years of experience, or one year plus experience wrestling in tournaments. Wrestlers competing in tournaments and team events will also need to obtain a USA Wrestling card through MNUSAWRESTLING.ORG
Tuesdays/Wednesdays - Jan. 7 through March 12 from 7:00-8:15pm (Course # C203 - $100) For grades 2-6.
