The Community Education Middle School Athletics Program provides 6th, 7th and 8th grade students an opportunity to participate in a variety of seasonal sports activities. These programs emphasize skill development and team play. Students are instructed in the fundamentals of the sport and will participate in a few meets within District #833 (possibly outside of the district as well, but nearby). Track will run from April 7 to May 15, 2025. Cost: $165
**CGMS/OMS student athletes will combine and form a team that will practice at CGMS each day. LMS/WMS student athletes will also combine to form a team and will practice at LMS each day. Practices will run Monday through Thursday each week from 2:45-4:30pm. Due to a national bus driver shortage, there will be NO TRANSPORTATION this year for track. Parents will need to transport students to and from practices and meets.
All participants MUST have a sports physical on file at the Community Education office. Physicals are good for three years. All three forms that the doctor needs to complete can be found on our website at commed.sowashco.org under "Middle School Athletics".
