Summer Online Academic Resource for Students currently enrolled in a SoWashCo School. Grade 2 curriculum. SOAR is a fun 9-week online summer course that allows students to preview grade-level standards for the upcoming school year. Using online learning platforms (SeeSaw for elementary and Schoology for middle school), teachers provide a variety of activities for students that allow for practice, exploration, and challenge. Some activities might require parental input or supervision, depending on a student’s age and ability. Students may work at their own pace whenever it fits into their family’s schedule. New lessons are released each Monday. Students will not be able to work ahead but will always be able to go back to previous lessons. Information about how to begin the course will be emailed during the week of June 9. Online lessons will begin on June 16 and final work must be submitted by August 18th.
