Located in most elementary schools, Central Park, and the District Program Center (DPC). Educational classes for ages 3-5 in math, language, literacy, music, art and science. Tuition based on a sliding fee scale.
In-Person ACT Prep Course:
A traditional classroom format with in-person instructors who present test-taking strategies, critical review, and time management for all testing areas of the ACT. This 12-hour course meets one day each week for four weeks.
Class materials are included in the tuition. Make-up classes are available.
Students may repeat the ACT prep courses at no charge by requesting the Self-Paced Online course. Contact Advantage at 612-222-5108 to register.
These courses are designed for students who wish to improve their test-taking skills and improve their overall scores on the college entrance exams. Students who finish the course increase their scores significantly on the ACT (36 pt. total). We will introduce the ACT format with strategies for answering questions and instruction for the specific subject areas tested. Focal points of the program include diagnostic testing, vocabulary development, intensive mathematical review, reading comprehension improvement, science reasoning, concentration improvement, overcoming test anxiety, essay writing, and time management.
