Located in most elementary schools, Central Park, and the District Program Center (DPC). Educational classes for ages 3-5 in math, language, literacy, music, art and science. Tuition based on a sliding fee scale.
Enjoy an afternoon cruise 11:30am-1:30pm on the scenic St. Croix River along with a delicious Italian lunch buffet prepared by Afton House restaurant. Water included with the buffet. There will be a cash bar open if you would like to purchase other beverages. Credit Cards Accepted for Cash Bar – No Checks.
After our cruise we will have 2 hours of free time to visit the Abigail Paige antique mall (approximately a 2-5 minute walk .2 miles), indulge your sweet tooth at Knoke Chocolates & Ice Cream and/or take a stroll along the river or pedestrian bridge(Bridge to no where) at the beautiful Lakefront park. We will meet back and board the bus at 3:45pm for a 4pm departure to head back to Cottage Grove.
Reservation deadline is Friday, July 25, 2025. Plan to arrive ready to board the bus at the District Program Center at 9:30a.m. for a 9:45 a.m. departure. You will return at approx. 4:30 p.m. to Cottage Grove District Program Center. Questions? Please call Angela at 651-425-6668.

Activity level difficulty: low/medium-some self-paced walking required. There will be a ramp to get on/off the boat. Walkers, canes welcome. Please let us know if you will be bringing a wheelchair. Some optional stairs if you want to go up to the top boat deck. Some walking required (2-5 minutes) to get to the antique mall or chocolate and ice cream shop. We are also within short walking distance of Lakefront park if you prefer to relax and enjoy some nature or go on a walk before the bus picks us up. You can choose how much and far you want to walk.
A minimum of 30 people is needed for trip to go. A full refund will be automatically credited if trip does not fill and each participant notified.
