Students will begin with pendant molds and explore layering techniques using an exciting variety of materials such as mica powders, alcohol inks, resin dyes, glitter, foil flakes, dried flowers, paint, stickers, magazine pages, scrapbook paper, or small personal photos. Learn how to design visually striking pieces while experimenting with color, texture, and transparency. Each participant will leave with four unique, wearable pendants—beautifully finished and ready to enjoy or gift. Necklace cords are included, so your creations are ready to wear right away!
Alexi Hansen has worked for the District as a special education teacher for 10 years, and previously worked in residential care and as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. In her free time she loves to travel, do photography, paint, and enjoy any other kind of art she can get her hands on.
