Learn how to cut and arrange your own stunning bouquet from locally grown flowers. In an interactive outdoor class, participants experience how to build a bouquet as multiple bouquets are assembled live by your instructor. As she assembles, she will highlight techniques in selecting formal and informal color schemes and cutting and cleaning flower stems. She will demonstrate how different styles are created, such as formal, bridal, whimsical, and fun. Following the bouquet making class, each participant explores the instructor’s you-pick field, cuts stems and assembles their own bouquet with input from the instructor. Class meets onsite at Pine Hill, the instructor’s 1/8 acre you-pick garden and roadside stand business between Radio Drive and Woodbury Drive on Dale Road. Wear appropriate footwear. No vase provided. One beautiful large bouquet per registered participant. Children ages 5–14 are welcome to attend with a registered, paying adult and are eligible for a discounted rate. If weather is an issue, our instructor has set aside two rain dates: The August 13th class has a rain date of August 17. The Aug. 20th class has a rain date of Aug. 24.
