Join The Museum of Russian Art to learn about khokhloma, an iconic folk art style that you'll often see on wooden household objects. Teaching artist Megan Moore will introduce you to this artistic tradition and guide you as you paint your own decorative wooden object to take home, drawing inspiration from the nature motifs of khokhloma. All materials provided; no experience necessary. Taught by Megan Moore, a Minneapolis-based professional artist whose murals and paintings can be seen all over the city.
