    Private Guitar Lessons with George McCorkell - fall

    Personalized, private guitar lessons are offered to students in beginning to advanced guitar (acoustic or electric) and beginning banjo. A guitar or banjo is required for lessons. Lessons are taught online or in person at East Ridge by Mr. McCorkell, a professional guitarist with a degree in Guitar Performance who has been teaching privately for over 10 years. Questions?     30 minute Private Lessons (String, piano, voice, etc.) with Michelle Dunkirk FALL Session

    FALL session lessons will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Red Rock Elementary beginning in September and run through mid December. Michelle Dunkirk is a certified and licensed music instructor with over 20 years experience.She received her Bachelors of Music on a full vocal scholarship at the U of E, Indiana, majoring in string technique, piano and voice and has played in orchestras for over 14 years including the U of M Concert Orchestra, Minnesota Opera and has also studied with the teachers of the Julliard School of Music. Her experience also includes several years of playing in dozens of bands, performing solo and in ensembles locally and internationally.She's performed on the acoustic and electric violin, guitar, mandolin, drums, flute, keyboards and lead vocals. Dunkirk was former CEO and owner of Total Music Systems rental and recording studio which rents music equipment to national recording artists in major entertainment venues. She also spent six years as orchestra director at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, Wisc. Michelle has produced and recorded three CD's of original music, one of which was nominated for a music award.She has recently completed recording a commercial for RedLine hockey sticks where she wrote, produced and performed the music. Besides all of her accomplishments, Michelle's true passion is teaching music. Her warm and personal style sets her apart from other teachers.
