    Enjoy a refreshing experience practicing yoga outdoors! Vinyasa yoga helps with strength and flexibility. We will work on balance and elongating the muscles to create a positive habit in your life. We'll meet at Pine Glen Park located at 9701 Hamlet Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. No experience is necessary, and you are welcome to bring your kids of all ages (supervised and participating). There is also a playground that is close by for children. Bring a mat and water bottle.     Added by popular demand for students who have either previously taken Level 1 or are comfortable with their cameras and are eager to continue expanding their knowledge. Learn more about metering, exposure and composition. Explore your camera’s auto modes and understand when you might use them. Learn about focus modes and how to use them. Most importantly, you will have time for valuable hands-on in-class experience. Please bring your digital SLR (DSLR) camera with a fully charged battery, camera manual, pen and notebook. No point & shoot cameras. Handouts will be handed out in class on the first day. Please bring them to class with you.

  • Yoga – Level 1 (Prerecorded for Your Convenience)

    A recorded-only class will be sent to you each week via email to watch and practice at your convenience. It will be similar to the online class, but with no Live Zoom meeting to join. This class is a flow-style yoga class, using poses to warm up the body and match breath to movement. It provides opportunities for strengthening and stretching. Many modifications are offered so you can tailor the practice to your own body. It is recommended that you have some previous yoga experience, only because you are practicing at home on your own. Use a yoga mat. Yoga blocks are also recommended but not required. Participants will receive a recording of the current Online Yoga Level 1 class, for that week, on or by Tuesday afternoon. Recordings are typically available for 2 weeks or so after you receive them and you can view them more than once.
